Various reports abound today that Carver has been turned down for the Villa job... despite being the best coach in the premiership....... Further up the country it seems that tufty has thrown his hat into the ring for the vacant Rotherham job...... with said hat being swiftly thrown back at him. The above sums up some of our ills (and more specifically Charnley's ineptitude) perfectly.... Both are grade A plums.
Nice to see Rotherham realising what we didn't - i.e. he's a walking disaster, and unlike us they have concern for the team getting points rather than cutting costs. From managing England to getting turned down by Rotherham less than a decade later, now that's a career in freefall....almost as bad as Brian Little winning the league cup and being near the top of the Prem with Villa, then barely a decade later being sacked by Gainsborough Trinity. and Carver....just lol. Will he ever work again?
Knowing my luck an ****ing donkey ready for the knackers yard. Which reminds me. Shola is out of contract still isn't he?
Actually, its unbelievable that Shola is still out of contract.....I despair at the inadequacies of this so called management team. Just think how good he would look in the New Kit, along with brother Sammy. . If nothing else he should be brought in too mentor Mitrovic and teach him where the goal is.
Rotherham's said no to McClaren, blimey he must be desperate if he can't get a job there, they appointed Neil Redfearn.
Probably down to a realisation by Rotherham that they wouldn't be able to afford the pay-off when he got sacked.
