It'll get very tasty and I assume very testy if and when Snoddy goes too. He'll wonder, if he doesn't already, what the hell he's walked into! Sorry to state the bleedin' obvious...
I can't believe anyone ever thought selling Livermore was a Silva decision. What kind of nutter would he have to be to come in and start trying to make our squad even smaller. It'd be utterly ridiculous.
I thought it was his decision but I didn't think it would make the squad smaller. With a limited budget I 100% thought it was sacrificing a player for a position where we have lots of players, to sign players for positions where we have no players. Its exactly what I would've done in his shoes. And he hasn't made the first team squad smaller. We've sold one player, loaned one out and signed 3 since he's been here.
The issue with that is that it's so difficult to get players in January, even for better run clubs than ours. Very few manage to make more than 2 or 3 in a January window. Even if we reinvested the full amount it'd be very difficult to find multiple players who we think are good enough and who want to come here for a combined total of £10m
So Marco says he wants to or needs to replace Jake with a central midfield player. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Expect Mason to replace Jake in midfield. Bring in an orthodox left full back and push Robbo up left wing. Clucas back into a holding midfield. With Elabdellaoui due in and when the African contingent come back we should have a balanced team BUT must keep Snoddy.
It's the age old 'turns 30 and automatically becomes less good' argument. It's a load of bollocks. Your age has no effect on your ability. Injury proneness maybe, but it's never cut and dry.
I wonder if Marco is thinking about the fans and their disenchantment with a chairman who says one thing and then does another....
Who do people think will replace Snodders on Sunday, Evandro or Niasse? Niasse doing the press conference might point towards him.
there will be a minutes applause on Sunday at 55 minutes http://www.getwestlondon.co.uk/spor...round-applause-12480622#ICID=sharebar_twitter
