    Very bad to not make it 2-3.

    The one positive being Morata proving everyone wrong already with a goal and assist in 30 minutes.

    Everything else went wrong and we were badly let down by the captain today, no idea what Cahill was thinking.

    Be interesting to see who plays in midfield next week because as it stands we've only got Kante.

    Hopefully this a wake up call and we can get the players we need or even better just bring back the ones we've loaned out.

    Gulp!!!! Seriously lame start to the campaign.....echoes of 2 seasons ago, no presence of a spine together with only 4 pre- season games as opposed to 6/8 of our competitors starting the team as undercooked, unfit and taking off from where we left off at the Cup Final? All this plus the Champions League.....Conte will have his work cut in the next few months...don't get me started on Cahill.

    Exactly, Cahill is a great part time squad player like Mikel. Stick him with 8 or 9 world beaters he will superbly reflect them & feed off them.

    The great thing about the premier league is that is exposes your weaknesses very quickly. That must have been a huge eye opener for the Chelsea back room, which hopefully, will make someone somewhere a bit more decisive in their actions regarding loaned players, youth and new signings.

    Not a great start but hopefully the massive kick up the backside we need to switch the engine on for Spurs.
