Not me but I'm ganna watch it live on my digi box and hope we can put in a better performance than the last time I was there <we lost, heavily>
I have the offer of a ticket free of charge but am still trying to offload the kids so I can go. It's on the coach this time which, given the slowness and multiple stops would probably take me to 24 cans for the trip. Could be messy if I can get there.
I thought drink was banned from football supporters coaches ?? can't see you hiding a slab down your chinos so you could donate the money you were going to spend to the Jakarta beer fund
Most are but we get a local firm in Consett and they (for a small stipend) turn a blind eye when we get our slabs out for the lads. Apparently it's the coppers who cause the issues. If they catch a bus full of pissed mags with drink they escort the bus back to it's point of origin. At the same time all of the real criminals are free to rob of course as the plod are on beer patrol... but at least 50 pissed mags have been prevented from enjoying themselves.. that's the main thing for them.....
Will be there. First visit to Stamford Bridge, so looking forward to hopefully decent day out. Anyone travelling up from the South area?
I'm from that little dot at the bottom of England you occasionally see on the weather forecast. Travelling to London is classed as 'up' to me, beyond London for Watford was going up north, and flying to Newcastle for Man U game was maybe travelling to Reykjavik.
I actually thought London was basically on the south coast until I started having to travel down to places like Dorking and Guildford etc. You picked the right game to fly up for - its my only game this season so far, as part of a trip home at Christmas, so I still have this rose-coloured view of the current team being one that plays attractive football and keeps fighting right to the end. I pity the rest of them who have had to sit through the all the other games!
