Because we are all heathens? I see little pride on this board about sunderland I always swore id never come back. @fredor you cum swallowing gimp. But i am. And im enjoying it.. Ive met @Norway in thailand. I've met @Billy the Bastard in England. Im full of ****
Yes you are. But you've only been back a few weeks. There's still plenty time for you to get pissed off about not meeting the rest of us! Get your arse into gear and sort out a meet up this summer! ****ing hiccups!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Took me 2 ****ing hours to type that
It's fair to say that if Hull can win City of Culture then it means **** all. I've worked there and the only culture is bacterial.
I'm off away in a few weeks, back in June. Once I've got the stablehands focused on the summer racing festivals, the farm hands focused on the watering and weeding, and bringing in the early crops (the rape seed is coming in over the next few weeks), then I guess I can try and sort out a weekend back up in God's country! I'm sure we can drag Gil off some ugly hunk of humanity for a few hours to spill a few beers together while arguing the **** out of RAW on why he's so wrong about, oh I don't know, absolutely everything! Whatever! We'll have a session!!!
We're all from the North mate, comments like that about another great Northern City make you look small minded and petty, be proud of Sunderland like we are about Hull and maybe Sunderland will get City of Culture and you will realise how great your City is. Come to Hull next week and have a look around, it's alright, and us locals are quite friendly, even to skeptics. Oh and good luck next year, I hope we don't play you for a year, but crack on, see you in the PL soon.
I'm not going to like Hull just because they're Northern, I've got nothing against the people of Hull in fact I've got a couple of good friends from there but I stand by my opinion that there's nothing cultured about the city. I'm actually from Doncaster so I know a thing or two about places lacking culture. Thanks for the nice comments about next year.
What is culture? The buildings, the people, the Art? I don't know, what I do know is that Hull and Sunderland are great Northern Cities that have been **** on by government for hundred of years, we in Hull love Hull, and we in Hull don't give a **** what anyone thinks of us, because "we are Hull" and we are City of Culture and it's ****ing great.
Isn't it just an excuse for arty farty types to impose their weird ideas on the unsuspecting general public for a 12 month period. Like shipping in a wind turbine blade and sticking it in the city centre and calling it an art project, eh what's that all about. Then getting the TV people round to ask unsuspecting shoppers what they think of it all, its all a load of bollocks to me. I mustn't be very cultured.
