Yep. Surprising if a club in Scotland is taking the punt on him but bodes well for retaining the keeper we actually want to keep.
So obviously not as good as everyone thinks. Bench warmer for Stoke at best so he won't even improve.
Even with a year left on his contract, why are we apparently only asking £8m for Robertson? Seems too cheap for a PL quality full international left back - even if he's only got a year left. When Newcastle got relegated, you didn't see them buckle and offer players for sale at discounted prices. Why are we doing it?
And sissoko. It'd be more accurate to say they revalued the players when they realized how much teams would pay.
If correct 8m is a joke offer , I presume there is a sell on clause to , not sure why we continue to under value our players , letting contracts to run down all the time doesn't help
Current odds on Sam Clucas Leicester 9/4 Burnley 3/1 Swansea 5/1 West Brom 10/1 Stoke 12/1 Southampton 18/1 Newcastle 25/1 To Stay at Hull (Does not include returning on loan following a permanent deal elsewhere) 2/1
Looking at what Watford have in midfield on top of the signing of Hughes not sure were clucas would fit in , they don't need him in my opinion would be a strange move
It's obvious Marco rates him we all know that but Watford don't have a bottomless pit of money and will want to strenghern other areas , already signing Hughes as a centre midfielder would suggest there not going to sign another on top of what they have , both box to box midfielders , clucas can play out wide but just isn't as effective there, of course this is just my opinion but for me there very much alike
Five former Leonid Slutsky players Hull City could sign this summer Ahmed Musa – Leicester City – Attacking midfielder/forward Musa endured a less than successful first year in English football with Leicester City, making just seven Premier League starts for the Foxes last season. Despite Leicester smashing their club transfer record on the Nigerian 12 months ago, signing him for a reported £16.6m, he could be available this summer and a reunion with Leonid Slutsky could well be on the cards. The Nigerian spent four-and-a-half years playing under the Russian at CSKA Moscow, making 164 appearances and scoring 54 goals, an impressive strike rate. If a deal can be done, a loan move may be preferred as Leicester will want to recoup at least most of the cash they shelled out for Musa last July. Georgi Shchennikov – CSKA Moscow – Left-back With Andy Robertson and Josh Tymon heavily linked away from the KCOM Stadium, Slutsky needs defensive reinforcements, especially at left-back and Shchennikov could be high on the Russian’s list. Slutsky brought the Russian international through the ranks at CSKA and didn’t think twice in making him his first choice left-sided fullback at just 18-years-old in 2009. please log in to view this image Georgi Shchennikov could plug a big defensive hole for Hull City (Photo: Getty) However, the 26-year-old has made just five starts since Slutsky’s departure in December as new manager Viktor Goncharenko has switched to a 3-5-2 formation. With no room for a left-back CSKA could look to get rid. Aleksandr Golovin – CSKA Moscow – Centre midfielder One of the hottest prospects in Russian football, Golovin is hotly touted with a move to Premier League side Arsenal. However, while he could be moving elsewhere it could stand in City’s favour. A central midfielder by trade, Golovin has earned 15 national caps already and is regarded as one of the best Russian talents around, hence the links to the Premier League. Despite being 21-years-old, Arsenal could be keen for the midfielder to acclimatise to English football with a loan spell before returning to the Emirates where he is expected to challenge for a first team spot. A loan spell to the KCOM Stadium under his old boss Slutsky who brought the midfielder through would be a win-win for both parties and could do wonders for the midfielder’s game. Georgi Milanov – CSKA Moscow – Attacking Midfielder Signed by Slutsky from Bulgarian side Litex Lovech in 2013, Milanov went straight into the first-team and made a big impact at the Luzhniki Stadium making 67 appearances in his first two seasons in Russia. please log in to view this image Georgi Milanov could be available this summer (Photo: Getty) However, after failing to impress in his third season at CSKA, he was shipped out to Swiss side Grasshoppers. Upon his return last season, the Bulgarian international started just nine times, meaning he could be available for a move this summer. Milanov is able to play in a number of positions across the midfield, and it is that versatility that may attract Slutsky, but his strongest position is considered to be attacking midfield. Kirill Nababkin – CSKA Moscow – Right-back Another constant of the Slutsky era, who has fallen by the wayside at the new VEB Arena, making just four starts last season. However, City need defensive reinforcements and the 30-year-old could fill a hole. Available on the cheap and more than happy to play on the left or right, the fullback could be a safe option for the Tigers’ new head coach. He would arrive as one of the most experienced defenders in the Championship, having won five major trophies, including two Russian Premier League titles, and making the Russian Euro 2012 squad. http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/spor...ews/five-former-leonid-slutsky-players-137017
