I fully agree with that ST. Yesterday he made one or three good stops, but you could see the bomb had gone off in his head at the end. As a defender, you surely need confidence in your keeper and as much as his team mates probably all like him and rate him in training, in a match situation its seemingly somewhat different. Jak is by no means brilliant, but he brings different things to the table that his team mates seem to buy in to.

 

Quite, but domestically they were beaten to the title by Feyenoord - who won the title after an 18 year wait.

 

To purely blame Marshall is crazy. As soon as relegation was confirmed pretty much all the squad have mentally collapsed. He has come into a team playing a new system, some planning to be off, and all with a big lose if confidence. Then to top it we play the most exciting and attack minded team in the league, who are playing with tons of confidence and in great form.

This next few days is key for the club. If Silva says he is staying and gets into the players, lets them know he will be back and be biilding a club, before they go on holiday we could keep a nucleus of the key players for the championship.

Marshall has made several great saves but he also has that annoying habit of prejudging goals; in his mind it is already in the net so he doesn't move.

I think I'd spend more on a medical team than a manager the way we get plundered with injuries. Its ok though because when Phelan was doing well, Ehnob told everyone in the Yorkshire Post what a wonderful job he was doing and he was pleased with the new regimes training measures and lack of injuries. I wonder if he checked the medical room a fortnight later?

Agree with this. I argued strongly on here that the Jak should have been dropped around the Leicester defeat when he seemed to be suffering a crisis of confidence and making mistake after mistake. Silva stuck with him and he recovered his form. His lack of any sort of reaction to these two was worrying.

 

Its a good message and not his fault that he doesn't understand the name issue.
