I don't blame any of our players wanting to leave the club going somewhere that has more stability and ambition and where there is a much better relationship across the board with owners players and fans pulling In the same direction. I accept they are well paid but the constant upheaval of what goes on at city must affect some of the players and maybe more the younger ones and looking at the current squad. How many of them will actually believe that this squad can get us back into the premier league so it would make sense for them to want to go elsewhere as they will always want to play at that level
Of course he was lying. Just as Slutsky was when he said he didn't know what bids were on the table. People only believe it because of the hatred towards the Allams
There is a difference between hatred and experience I have no experience of the Allams saying anything that turned out to be true
The line between the two has become blurred with the vast majority. Hopefully it'll be the last window with the Allams in charge, but we aren't the only club having difficulties in the market
It's a decent deal for Cardiff, they get £10m, along with a replacement striker who scored 14 for Brighton last season. As for Colin, he said he's only going to go to the Premier League and it seems that's where he's going (though not a top ten club, obviously).
If you know the final positions for the premier league can you let us have the inside information please OLM
Some interesting points, i.e. Fans and owners pulling in the same direction. I think we have a club where there is a core of fans that will never be happy with whoever we have as owners. From the days of the Needlers when there were fans who moaned that the needlers lacked that ultimate ambition of 1st division football, Don Robinson , a great guy but again lacked that final push for glory, poor 'Fish' who was abused , Buchanan (Dodgy), the hated Lloyd( quite justified), Adam(saviour) but money turned him. The London boys with Duffen ( again fans not happy and abusing Duffen) and now the allams who have wanted to do things their way but naively, as I dare say Assem never expected such opposition to his ideas. I'm massively disappointed on how things are going, but we are at a club where there will never be harmony between owners and some fans. Why do you think the Healeys never got involved, why put money into something for the rewards of being abused. Now we are left with the Owners son in charge through default, who has taken his bat and ball home because he and his family get abused. RIP Hull City!
