Agree with this. Injuries are unfortunate and can impact on the best run teams but yesterday was a shambles. A player obviously brought into the team before he was fit - let's hope it hasn't exacerbated the situation. Another injured player replaced with an experienced professional but one that necessitated an enforced change of shape simply to get him on the pitch. A player who wants to leave, or doesn't want to leave and chose not to play or wanted to play, or something. Take your pick. I don't know if our manager is any good. How can you possibly tell from the omnifuck currently being played out? I wish him luck, but I suspect he will need a siege of Leningrad mentality rather than being able to lead a battle of Stalingrad fightback. I don't think that the reinforcements are on their way.
Let's face it, it can't really get any worse. Two lined up according to Al Told u have two lined up. Start of week. Domestic. Don't ask me who. Don't know.
We all want the same thing as regards City doing well. We cannot do anything as regards Allams selling up. So we make choices either don't go to matches or go. We can whinge all we like but nothing will change with these Herbert's in charge (no offence if your name is Herbert). I choose to be optimistic because I lead all aspects of my life like that. I also realise that I am delusional when it comes to city. Top 16 this year lads
Told u have two lined up. Start of week. Domestic. Don't ask me who. Don't know. I hope to god one is Musa, we need some positivity and it would be an outrageous signing
We're so terrible we stuffed a team last week, wonder how the burton managers feeling?? We're so terrible we only got beat 3-2 by the favorites for the division. We're so terrible we only got beat yesterday by schoolboy mistakes by the second most experienced defender in the division and then our most impressive defender. Yes we haven't got enough of a squad and now we've suffered a few too many injuries simultaneously. Hernandez and Campbell injured!! Does anyone seriously expect us to have to back ups as good??
They spoke very highly of Arry on motd this morning, I got the impression that they considered him a bargain.
Wasn't having a go at all I'm a really optimistic person in general...I just allow myself to use City as a way of getting my pessimism fix!
I think I've been probably the most patient on here re signings, but this is now a joke. I still reckon we'll finish the window with a decent side but this is now the third time we've left it till very very late in the last 3 windows.
He was a bargain, but that's because he only had a year left on his contract. If had had 2 or 3 years left I'm fairly certain the fee would have been higher. As it is I don't think it's a bad price we got at all.
So where are all the people who were slagging the pantie wetters...in allams you trust...like i said in an earlier post...deluded.
Problem was yesterday myler, larsson, Campbell, Stewart, hector , dio are all not match fit but had to play as we have no squad
We finished yesterday's game with every available first team player on the pitch, we have nothing but U23's with no league experience available to replace the next injury.
And as bummers said months ago they are now the first team squad. Remeber how you and half this board used to bang on about Bruce never playing the kids. Well now we are.
Giving a promising youth player an opportunity and having half the squad made up of youth players are quite obviously not the same thing.
