Good results last night & tonight. Let's hope we capitalise on Saturday and close the gap before 'the big match' which may be season defining.
Sean Murray has had a knee op so out for a while. http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp...urce=rss&utm_medium=Sendible&utm_campaign=RSS No wonder we're after a couple of midfielders (British)
Yesterday according to the WO he was staying at Crewe, today he isn't. http://www.watfordfc.com/news/artic...zu-returns-to-watford-from-crewe-2228547.aspx
Bournemouth is a sell-out so a full stadium despite live TV. Should be a cracker of a match and go a long way to giving us the confidence to push on for top 2 finish should we pull off a result down there. Interestingly their home form this season is not the best so whilst it mirrors our away form and a draw should be predicted I think we will pull off a win - obviously not with a clean sheet though!
Bournemouth live on telly this week and Wales v England the following week. It's about time Friday night TV was worth watching!
Brian, it is on Sky Ikpeazu going to Doncaster now; http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/11751874.UPDATE__Doncaster_set_to_sign_Ikpeazu_on_loan/ Sounds like they wanted an improvement in team - someone pushing for promotion
This is an interesting link which shows how we have performed against the top, middle & bottom teams home and away: http://www.kickoff.co.uk/teams/watford/2014/results/
If you click on all the other teams you will see that Bournemouth are not much better and only Derby and Ipswich have a much better record although Ipswich record against mid table teams is poor.
its the team that can improve on the 1st half of the season with our manager now getting to know his players plus a few new faces we could go 8 win 1 draw i lose in the next 10 then its all down to the wire
Not sure if this has been mentioned but the Swede is off to China! Random! http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp...eden_striker_joins_Chinese_club_for_the_year/
Seems that he might stay if we are promoted, but off if we are not. http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/11755898.Pozzo_says_Angella_wants_return_to_Italy/
I don't know what to make of this. http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/11755898.Pozzo_says_Angella_wants_return_to_Italy/?ref=mr Angella seems to be saying he might stay if we get promoted. It seems like a fill in scare story.
I don't see that there's anything in this at all. Angella is proving his worth and is likely to become an Italian international one day. Typically signed on a decent length contract, if we go up he'll stay if only for a season or the Pozzo's will cash in thereafter. If we fail again then he'll be off and understandably so. All logical to me and a bit of a non-story really. Nothing to see here, move along....
someone should run a sweepstake as to how many of our players will wear gloves tomorrow night - I go for 4. As a bonus how many will wear tights?!!
Chris, as long as Gomes isn't wearing Kiraly-style tracksuit bottoms that look more like pyjama trousers I won't mind, especially if we get 3 points.
Watford's appeal against Gabriele Angella's red card at AFC Bournemouth has been successful. He is now eligible for Blackburn on Saturday. Clearly the right decisions, but all a bit late. So will our star ref get a three match ban?
It's not right is it? We lost 3 points, everyone was robbed of an entertaining game between the leagues high scorers. When will the referee's start being sued for their negligence? It theoretically could cost our club millions.
