    Broaden their horizons maybe, learning a different culture, language and way of life to improve them as a well-rounded human being rather than staying cosseted in their comfort zone within a tiny, easy bubble?

    You didn't mention anything about playing in Germany or Spain. You said they should boaden their horizons, learning a different culture, language and way of life to improve them as well-rounded humans.

    He's just left Melbourne Victory in the A-League, is a quality player though. Think he's being linked with Brighton but might have seen the deal fell apart, not sure.
