I'm not worried if he leaves us this summer, I would've been last season though, Maybe it's because we're not reliant on him this time around though,

I agree, I think we should play without a goalie.

It would also mean we can finally play 4-4-3 like I was telling Chief the other day <whistle>

You do rely on De Gea, Matth. All teams rely on their keeper. Look at us for an example of what happens when you don't worry too much about getting a good keeper.

You lose him you need a replacement just as good.

    Joe Hart? <whistle>

The only difference is that De Gea isn't the only player who is the focus this year. previously all the others were 5hite so, naturally, everyone was grateful to have him between the sticks. He is still the great keeper, worth 12 points at least per season - the only difference now is that his efforts are being overshadowed to a degree by genuine action on the field.

He's only going to get better. Crosses were his weakness. He's now absolute calmness and reliability on that front. Obviously his shot stopping is the best in the world. He's largely existed under the radar this season as we've defended well and aren't in the CL but he's been pretty immaculate. Easily the best all round GK in the league. Maybe the Dane could teach him to throw like a long ball punt.

I think he is although we're are biased. Only other keeper in the league I would want is Loris however he is still second best.

If you get Champions League then he won't leave - Kasper to Real is more likely unfortunately for us...

Doesn't his bird still live in Madrid?

De Gea to Madrid, Lloris to United, Hart to Spurs is my guess based on nothing.

De Gea is going out with the Madrid lass - has been stated as one of the reason why he would want to move.

Lloris signed a new long term contract in Dec so he won't be moving and Hart will most likely end up at a foreign club as City won't sell to an English club.

You are linked with that prodigy from Milan - as is every other club though.

I don't think signing a contract recently means much at all nowadays. If De Gea goes, you'd expect him to be top of the list.

Sounds like the script from Inception. Can he go into some dream state and find a way to get back to Madrid without Mourinho knowing?

You are also linked with our keeper - any chance his City connection would dissuade you...

    Please don't take him...
