    To be fair, RR did predict Rhodes to Norwich...

    ...and us and Newcastle and Villa etc etc. In fact, I think the only thing he didn't predict was him staying at Boro.<laugh>

    I'm officially apologising to everyone when I said I heard who we are buying. I did PM some here as promised to confirm if it happened.
    However I was told it was a done deal with Jordan Rhodes a fee was agreed and wages etc. The person told me does know a lot of stuff that goes on in the club, but heard it from a Boro fans who he is friends with via these supporter reports when travelling around. I did say I did not believe it but thought I might mention it.

    brilliant window for us, well done LJ & MA, but sorry i am a little worried about the lack of another striker, and a seasoned champ one for decent money tbo. Club may come out tomorrow and tell us how things panned out today (doubt it though) and we may just of missed out on some corkers, BUT missed out we have, hopefully it will make no difference, hopefully!!!

    But we have Tammy, Engvall, Wilbraham, Paterson who can all play up front if needed.
    But I suspect we are going Tammy up front with Tomlin playing the old fashioned number 10 role.

    And also the books are going to look a lot better this year, so can go for it if needed in January.

    Pleased that rumours regarding Flint, Pack and Freeman faded away, squad would have been too thin, yes another striker would have been nice but at least we have young hungry players to do the job, Flint would have been an irreplaceable loss
