This Alli thing is gathering pace today. I can't believe that we are about to sign some wonderkid, dubbed the next Steven Gerrard (he is a Liverpool fan and idolises Gerrard by the way). When I say "I can't believe", really I mean I don't believe, just can't see it happening. I have watched a fair few clips of him and a good chunk of his performance against Man U when he ran the show. I've come to the conclusion, no chance, way too good for us <laugh>

Another player that we will destroy playing out of position if he's lucky. No doubt perez wouldn't have had a game and been loaned out if It wasn't for injuries

Sounds like we predictably failed to seal the deal. Spurs are now in for him according to the latest rumours.

Problem is Spurs are linked with virtually everyone on the transfer list. He'd end up another bench warmer.

Plenty of clubs seem to be interested in the lad, so he just needs to take his time make the right choice for his career.
If he's as good as people say, he doesn't want to go somewhere and end up as another benchwarmer.

So by all accounts the lad is signing for Spurs. I hope for his sake he's not another John Bostock. Spurs have hardly got a great record with developing young talent, when poaching from other teams. They seem to get chewed up and spat out at ****e Hart Lane. For every Bale, there's a Bostock, Dos Santos, Naughton, Caulker etc. They do seem to do alright with the young talent that comes through their academy. Harry Kane has to be one of the great success stories of any academy graduate around the PL this season - or any of the past few seasons for that matter.

Oh yeah, of course on the face of it, he's making the right move. There really is no decision to be made if it was a straight choice between us and them. The only plus to signing for NUFC at the moment, is he's more likely to force his way into our team sooner than later. We do seem to be stripping out allot of senior players at the moment, with a view to bringing through the youth. Good luck to the lad though. If he's as good as everyone says he is, then he should have a good career ahead of him, wherever he signs.

Pardew took 'the line' with him so we're screwed. Wonder what bollocks the club are gonna wheel out this time. I suspect it'll be the same ****e but from a different gob....proof yet again that the fat one is nothing more than a big fat ****ing puppet master.

I like the fact that we found out that Santon was leaving from his FB, Brilliant communication from the club.

Its too obvious this is just who we planned to replace sissoko with if someone paid over the odds this window.

Pardew seems to have found the line alright at Palace doesn't he.

Out of all the stuff which happens in a window for us, this is the single most disappointing piece of news. I think he'd have been a really good signing and perfect when they cash in the Sissoko chip in the summer (if not before).

As W&B says he should make anywhere but if he is lumbered on the bench somewhere, it'll set him back. Look how much first team football has brought him on.

It's probably why we lined him up - ready for if Sissoko left this January. Probably had no intention of spending the £5million unless we'd already cashed in on Moussa.
