Even with shooting ourselves in the foot early on we fell in **** and came out smelling of roses !! I hope lessons have been learned and we strengthen properly including in depth this time now we seem to have a good manager again ! Put not for sale signs on siggy n Llorentes !
To be honest I hope we will never have to go through the crap like this again. But if we don't learn from this then it's going to be another slow car crash next season.
It's been a struggle this season, being down in the relegation zone for so long, however they way it's panned out with us getting 41 points, it's much better to end on 41 points by winning 4 out of the last 5 than end on 41 points but winning 1 out of 5. The end result is the same but instead of dreading next season, we can at least look forward with some optimism (prior to any big departures that may happen). It's a shame we didn't do better against the relegated teams - 0 points from Hull, 1 point from Middlesboro. We could have easily finished top 10 !!! I think there were some doubts about Clement in the middle of the poor run, but he's turned it around and certainly has my confidence for next season.
Overall it has been a poor season and we must do better next season.....Lets not dismiss the facts because we have had a good last few games and Hull exploded... Im happy to end in 15th place but i dont want another season like this one again....
That season was totally avoidable, just came when the Yanks signed? to much distraction in the boardroom, need 3 or 4 players to strengthen our weak positions and we should be good to go for next season. Just don't want another like it any time soon..........
Dont agree with that Dragon. The Morgans and Jenkins were the main reason we have been poor. In reality the yanks saved our bacon buying the club and their mistake is letting Jenkins run the club on their behalf while they got to know what it takes to run a premiership club. They have made countless trips back and foe across the pond working hard behind closed doors completing our facilities which are second to none and are trying their best to acquire the stadium. Jenkins is still in full charge as far as i am aware and im hoping the yanks now realize what a hindrance he is for any progress on the playing side of things.....Lets see what happens now the season is over.....
Did anyone else notice that on the lap of honour Gylfi at first clapped the East Stand but then waved...... Goodbye?
I don't think that's quite true Dai in terms of Hulls affect on us. Yes we went on a run for the last 5 games - but that's not luck. Hull fell apart, however even if they didn't we would have still finished above Watford and Burnley, plus Hull would could have beaten Palace which would have meant we finished above them as well. We stayed up because we deserved to.
There are three categories of waves : Longitudinal waves which are a movement of the particles are parallel to the motion of the energy. then there are sound waves moving through the air is an example of this type of wave. and finally the transverse wave ,this is the movement of the particles which are at right angles (perpendicular) to the motion of the energy. So which one was it ?
If Gylfi and Llorente are leaving then do it now and not the last minute that will leave us fcuked.....Ask them to give us another season Yes or No......If it is yes then all well and good but if it is no then they need to leave ASAP and if they try to hang on collecting wages then give them a time limit that suits us to be gone and should they fail that the club should say all deals are off and you must honour your contracts and we will see what happens the following season......
