The racing action was limited. Most of it was over exaggerated pit scenes. Other than that it was good.

Speaking of the racing, Mauro Pane, the racing double for Lauda, was killed in a car accident last night. <rose>

    Yeah... zip heard that. :(

As for the lack of racing action, I didn't mind that. Too much could have diluted the story a bit and made it less interesting to the none racing fan.

When it ended, My first thought was 'Thank the heavens Stallone never made his F1 movie'. Because it would have been absolute fluff, where as Rush was a fabulous take on a real F1 story... Even if certain liberties were taken.

I can't even remember what Stallone's pile of crapola ended up being called, but I think Indy featured in it.... Poor Indy.

    Edit:
Driven, that was it. Never could bring myself to watch it.

I didn't think driven was that bad..........except for the street car chase - oh let's take our race cars and not wear our helmets because our team boss wont mind let alone the police and the countless people who wrote off their cars because we will get away with it and this is definitely a deserved cause because he made a pass at my missus - part....

Maybe they won't drop it completely. Maybe they'll just show half of it on Sky.

It's more London-centric thinking. It's all-right if you've got super-fast broadband, but the large percentage of people living in the countryside don't, so won't be able to watch the programmes properly at all. Also, the only reason BBC 3+4 start broadcasting in the evening is because CBBC and Cbeebies go off air, they use the same broadcasting equipment/channels (not my area of expertise, but you get the picture!), so the cost savings will surely be minimal.

I'm sure they need to free up the budget to make a show where celebrities take on some kind of cake decorating challenge or some other inane task... So you can understand their thinking

    Further down you get:

    tomtom
A fine example of a human being.
TomTom's are often refered to as a person to look up to.
    I wish I was TomTom

    I get:

    bando
A complete loser in a highschool or college marching band. Plays an isntrument way too much, and usually also plays World of Warcraft with fellow members of the band, using microphone headsets much like those featured at McDonalds (Most will end up working there, anyway). They try to grow pubes in petridishes under their beds because that's what everyone talks about. Nobody at school likes them.
Get out of here you slimy **** bando, no one likes you!

<laugh> I'm not sure either. Some of those definitions were pretty sick: "The sexual act of cutting a persons stomach open and ejaculating inside them"?! But hey, you learn something new every day.
