Hardly a surprise but lets be careful what we wish for. Making a sensible appointment seems to tax the Board to the limit. Hessy in a caretaker role (if he was willing to do it) seems a likely short term solution but the medium term i likely to need a different person. Taylor's tenure seems immense looking back but he will not return and appointing a novice must never happen again. The trouble is the experienced guys will be wary about destroying their reputation with a small budget. An interesting few weeks to come and paralysis in the transfer market is likely.
