    Brilliant news for those of us no in the UK, and long overdue. They already film all the games, why not get some money from it. I may well sign up even if City don't go down, because there'll be so much quality football available for such an affordable price.

    Good news for us ex-pats if we are relegated...which I still think we will avoid particularly if we defeat Sunderland soundly on Saturday.

    That is great news however given I'm 1 year into my 2 year Optus TV contract I'm hoping we a)survive b) keep Marco c) buy the players he wants d) finish top half, and e) win a cup (which I'll watch on Fox) Simples.

    What contract is that? My understanding was it's cancellable at any time and is free this year. So you should be able to cancel after this season and not pay anything.

    I sorted out a new phone contract and new internet through Optus so I bundled it all up - I'm paying less for Optus broadband and Optus tv than I paid Telstra for adsl!! The contract is more to do with the internet and phone but the tv is part of it

    Good move this and could help raise the profile of the league.

    Also, I suppose this will mean that if we do go down, there'll be a stream for every game.

    The socio studies on this are interesting
    Neither word is wrong

    Immigration simply means someone who migrates to another country permanently

    Expat is someone who lives outside their native country

    But there is a racist social pariah between the two.. (not accusing you of that syd) it's usually white people with a high paying job who get called expats when in reality both are both

    There are immigrants and expats in this thread.. and they are the same people

    Sorry genuinely didn't know, just knew most on here referred to City fans living overseas as ex-pats so thought that the best go to to use.
