    Cheers. <ok>

It seems wrong to 'like' a post about someone expressing how they feel they've suffered.

    Thanks for sharing. <ok>

I mean I'll happily take the wages but I can't guarantee I'll make a decent pass all game.

Don't worry. None of us will ever learn if we don't talk about stuff.

Hope I've made things clear. I'm not one to bang the gay agenda, but having seen what shifting attitudes can do, I feel it is so important with this.

I totally agree. A limitation (but needed imho) of this board is a 'no politics' rule, but I feel the 'safe space' culture of modern universities is a negative, as it discourages open debate and leaves some students less prepared for the wider world.

Bigots of all types should be heard so that they can be challenged in my view.

Personally, I think it is an issue in the UK.

You are probably right that players don't want to come out because of issues in other countries, but it shouldn't be the case that in an entire British industry, no-one is openly gay.

    It must be
It would be a statistical miracle if it wasn't a U.K. issue

Though look up Stephen Davies (I think the only openly gay, but definitely the first cricketer) on Wilkpedia, no mention of his sexuality

isnt it good that no fan from Hull City would be shallow, I mean fancy not watching a team cos of something trivial like a gay player.................. or even a name change

Leave it...it's not worth it (literally...it's not even worth the microscopic wear and tear on your phone screen!)
