We can win all three of our remaining matches and guarantee Premier League football next season.

Sunderland have a big say in who will get relegated and therefore who will be their competition next season for an immediate return to the Premier League. Would they prefer to go down with us or Swansea City? If I was them I'd pick Swansea City. We've already shown we can get relegated and bounce back.

Spurs' season may have ended by the last game. Chelsea champions and them safe in second place.

Then there's Palace. Yesterday showed how they can be stopped and how they can be defeated.

    Three winnable games.

Finally WBA. They play Burnley away, Chelsea, Manchester City and Swansea. By the time they play Swansea they could have lost another three and not scored. If that is the case, Pulis' job may depend on a result against Swansea City.

The fat lady has a way to go before she sings.

The general consensus amongst Sunderland fans was that they'd prefer us to go down. We're nearer geographically and we'll lose most of our squad loans and contracted. We'll be a mess if we're in the Championship next season.

I think we'll be stronger financially if we get relegated then we were last time. A lot will depend on whether we keep Marco Silva. If we do then I think we'll be among the favourites to go straight back up.

I think we'll lose the majority of the squad (loans will go) and we'll cash in on saleable assets, Silva will move on to a club that merits his clear managerial talents. We'll be in trouble with not many players or a manager. Praying for survival to try and keep some of the existing squad.

I don't know what all the panicking is about. Swansea will lose to Everton and draw against Sunderland and West Brom.

Except everybody seems to like us - or like us because they admire the job Marco has done - so I don't see the logic there.

Read the comments at the bottom of the Daily Mail article for example. Supporters of different clubs each saying they hope we survive.

Let's hope Livermore gets West Brom performing against Swansea.

Exactly. Everyone likes Marco (wasn't that a TV show?) and everyone wants Harry (porn flick?), but no one wants unfashionable little Hull City - especially people with whistles and flags.

Many like Silva just because they think he looks cool/suave, which is shallow as **** really. I'm not sure there is the demand people suggest at this point, he has plenty to prove still at this level. People will want to see how he does here with a full squad of his own making.

His English is a bit limited and he has been given an easy ride by the media because of it. Wait while they turn on him and start questioning his choices and decisions.
Classic PL 'welcome the newby then chew em up/ spit em out'.
Happens club after club, manager after manager.

Yes, I'm sure that's high up the list of reasons that people rate him. <doh>

You see it everywhere on other teams forums, he's the new Mourinho to people (he's not thought cool anymore so he needs a replacement). I don't think most have much of a clue of what he has done here really.
