Palace are safe if they get a draw. That's a better position to be in, but should they defend or attack? There will be fear and uncertainty in their minds.
That fear is only a factor because Palace lost at Man City. If they had won they would have been cock sure of themselves, safe and ready to put on a victory exhibition at home in front of their own fans.
Because Man City beat Palace there are now three teams fighting relegation instead of two, but we will now have to win both of our remaining games to stand a chance of staying up.

Hopefully, but when we play Spurs we won't be in a position to know a draw will mean safety, so we will have to go into that game aiming only to win as well.

 

If they win at Sunderland and we lose at Palarse we are relegated.

 

If they win at Sunderland we're as good as down with a draw (goal difference would be about +6 in their favour)
