New Zealand with 8 1st innings wickets remaining, trail England by 86 runs at the end of Day 2 New Zealand 303 for 2 (Williamson 92*, Taylor 47*) - England 389 (Root 98, Stokes 92, Buttler 67, Moeen 58, Boult 4-79, Henry 4-93) A poor day for England - begs the question what happens when Jimmy goes?
England with an uphill struggle to avoid defeat. Cloudy/rainy conditions expected on Sunday so the ball will be moving around. Wickets are likely to fall steadily. It's hard to see England setting NZ more than 150 to win, but perhaps one or more batsmen can play a blinding innings.
At the end of Day3 with 8 second innings wickets standing England trail New Zealand by 60 runs England 389 and 74 for 2 (Cook 32*, Bell 29*) - New Zealand 523 (Williamson 132, Guptill 70, Taylor 62, Watling 61*, Latham 59) 67 extras was a record for a test innings in England - Butler took 2 outstanding catches though
Great innings from Stokes, Cook and Root. Looks like a draw now without a decent spinner to exploit some wear in the pitch and bounce. Can't see Cook going for a sporting declaration with NZ's big hitters likely to have a go.
England lead New Zealand 523 by 295 runs at the end of the 4th day England 389 (Root 98, Stokes 92, Buttler 67, Moeen 58, Boult 4-79, Henry 4-93) and 429 for 6 (Cook 153*, Moeen 19*) - New Zealand 523 (Williamson 132, Guptill 70, Taylor 62, Watling 61*, Latham 59) by 295 runs Technically all 3 results are possible
Great win for England against the odds after the first three days. Shows what can be achieved with young, fearless players with talent. They could easily have just tried to defend from the start of play yesterday, but Root, then Stokes (in style) attacked, set up the chance to win and all the bowlers chipped in.
England beat New Zealand by 124 runs in the 1st Test at Lords England 389 (Root 98, Stokes 92, Boult 4-79, Henry 4-93) and 478 (Cook 162, Stokes 101, Root 84, Boult 5-85) - New Zealand 523 (Williamson 132, Guptill 70) and 215 (Anderson 67, Watling 59, Stokes 3-38, Broad 3-50)
New Zealand are 297-8 at the end of a rain affected first day of the second test at Headingley New Zealand 297 for 8 (Ronchi 88, Latham 84, Broad 3-83) v England Another entertaining day - surely New Zealand's brand of positive cricket deserves a longer series?
England with 5 1st innings wickets remaining trail New Zealand by 97 runs at the end of Day 2 England 253 for 5 (Bell 12*, Buttler 6*) - New Zealand 350 (Ronchi 88, Latham 84, Broad 5-109) A cliché I know, but an important first hour coming up
New Zealand beat England by 199 runs in the 2nd Test at Headingley New Zealand 350 (Ronchi 88, Latham 84, Broad 5-109) and 454 for 8 dec (Watling 120, Guptill 70, Craig 58*, McCullum 55) - England 350 (Lyth 107, Cook 75, Southee 4-83) and 255 (Buttler 73, Cook 56, Williamson 3-15)
Fantastic series drawn 1-1 - if only there were more!! NZ played attractive postive cricket and thoroughly deserved to draw the series. Also the series was played in a fantasic spirit. Alastair Cook voted England player of the series, and Trent Boult for New Zealand.

New Zealanders beat Leicestershire by 198 runs at Grace Road New Zealanders 373 for 5 (Elliott 106*, Ronchi 106*, Taylor 77) - Leicestershire 175 (Robson 67, McClenaghan 4-31)
They have so many big hitters. Fear a drubbing for England - although it will be very entertaining watching it! If McCullum tees off from the start and bats 30 overs, 450 is not beyond them.
