    You wonder if refs standing at the side of the pitch are in the best frame of mind to look at the TV pictures. FIFA should allow the fans at home to decide through an app.

    I just feel that a ref in a hurry to get on with the game isn't in the best frame of mind to judge something by looking at a TV set at the side of the pitch.

    Right, but a ref with a possibly poor view and with a split-second to make a decision, and no opportunity to look again, is a better situation?
