    Interesting post on BBC sport about how teams use their u21's:

    Look at the difference in using it as a gateway. Anyone watching this? Good game, England playing well. Redmond looks good, as do Ings and Hughes. Younes for them looks brilliant.

    Great result and it was a great game. England are showing some positive signs.

    I have to say Redmond and Hughes both need PL football. Redmond is improving rapidly now. Hughes has a touch of class.

    I have to give Southgate a bit of credit too. He has them playing proper football. Germany did have a worrying spell in the first 25min and the start of the 2nd half. Good sides will do that.
