Which is very worrying after we've just seen how poor he was against us. Cahill wouldnt get in many, if any, England teams of the last thirty years.
Well that doesn't say much or bode well for us in future tournaments, Cahill has lost form but Baines isn't up to playing in big tournaments, below standard
On current form I agree, but for most of the last few years he's been really good. I dunno what's been up with him lately but as a defender he's got the lot. I'm sure he'll get back to that form. Jagielka being our second best is more worrying. Our defence was a big strength for about 15 years with the likea of Terry, Ferdinand, Campbell, Cole, Neville. Now all of a sudden its the problem position.
Attacking positions used to be a big problem, now we have a pool to pick from. Swings and roundabouts.
No Harry Kane ffs. Had a ripple on enhanced odds Rooney & Kane to score any time at 3/1, but bet is void if both don't start. Hodgeson you absolute bell piece.
Seems a bit negative. Only three attacking players on the pitch. If it was a diamond with Sterling at the top I wouldn't mind so much, but sounds like its gonna be 451.
4-5-1 is still a very attacking side to put out with considerable risk against an extremely dangerous side like Lithuania. Hats off to Hodgson for having the balls to go with it.
what a boring squad of players England has at its disposal , illl watch it but jeeez its so uninspiring
Well done Woy. He may have scored 11 goals in 11 games but we need to break Kane in gently into International Football. This is the mighty Lithuania after all. COTM anyone?
Not starting Kane doesn't annoy me really. Welbeck and Rooney have done well. It's just the 1 up front on his own that irritates me. Rooney always drops deep too.
To be honest I think its gonna be Hart Clyne Cahill Jones Baines Carrick Henderson Delph Sterling Rooney Welbeck Woy just been banging on about the system they have in place.
