    Last qualifying round 1st Leg this week and I couldn't find the old thread so thought I'd start a fresh one.

    Friday 26th August is the Group Stage Draw in Monaco, so I'll be taking notice of this weeks games. Looking forward to seeing some better known names in our group. I'd like to play FC Midtjylland again as I feel that we have unfinished business there! Throw in St Etienne for ease with work and maybe an Anderlecht or an Italian/German team and I'd be very happy with that.

    It will be massive for us to get out of the group stage....let's not get our hopes up and think we can win it. No. let's not. Can we? o_O

    Not really Whiteley as we'd have already finished top 4 before we win this trophy as the final is in May, so it won't matter.

    Midtjylland should be pot 3 as well, in case you have an irrational hatred/fear of them.

    Steaua look like they'll be back in the Europa after last night's match against City - probably a more winnable match for us now than it was in 2003 if we get them (they'll probably be in pot 2).

    Don't get me wrong I want a decent chance of progressing but I really want to play some big clubs too. Our european ties in our life mtine consist of Steaua, Vitesse and Midgetland. It would be great to play an Ajax or someone like that. Though Ajax could still be in cl of course.

    Who's confirmed for pot 1 as it stands?
