Rather have a bovril and a bacon roll, thanks. And wtf is a Norwegian restaurant Ides? Do such things exist?
Fish and chips from a stall holder outside the stadium...... £8.50!! Burgers £5.00!!! Chips, £3.50 I think!!!
Thursday night will probably be bad for plenty of fans, so I don't foresee any problems in getting individual tickets. Add the fact away support is likely to be low then they'll be plenty of opportunity for a ticket
Could Saints possibly play Beer Sheva . It would be a good excuse for some of you to escape the dull days of December. So the dream draw would be an Israeli team. visas apart, a team from the Iberian Peninsula and maybe a Maltese team if that is possible?
I need to have a look at the pot allocation. Roma now in the EL!! A trip to the Eternal City. Or not given the dodgy treatment English fans have experienced so maybe that is a no-go!!
What about Dundalk? Do they drop into Europa? I can get there with work too. It's all about me. Obviously.
Braga would!! Sitting outside a bar around the central plaza in the depths of November having a fantastic pescado a la Poruguese washed down with a vinho tinto
So it's Dundalk, Israel, and France for you FLT? It is appealing. The Israel trip would need to be the last one as September and October can be very warm in that part of the world.
Almost anywhere in Europe, depending on which City. As long as I can find a potential customer there or have a colleague or office I can visit Southern Europe is harder.
Not Russia (or ex-Soviet) at the moment, but a lot of Eastern European countries I can get to. I went to Latvia last year for two days with work. Poland would be great as I have a good customer there.
If we got Braga I have a customer who has his tools made in Portugal. He's a season ticket holder (at saints) and has already said we should go together!! I have a customer who has season tickets at Feyernoord too!
Yep. Hapoel and Dundalk both losing tonight takes us ever closer to being a third seed. If Ajax win tomorrow night, I make it that we'll go into Thursday night's qualifiers as the 20th ranked side already in the group stage. We would need to ultimately finish in the top 36 to be a third seed, and they'd be 17 sides to come on Thursday who could all potentially overtake us. Clearly all 17 would need to progress to knock us out of the top 36. If my maths is correct. (West Ham are then one place further back from us, should they qualify, thanks to us going one stage further than them in last season's qualifiers).
It is going to be a great adventure and I hope Saints fans learn three different chants in a another language and bring it back to St Mary's as it would add to the diversity of singing at the stadium.
