Although in relation to your other point, no Roma probably won't be a first seed.

Schalke, Zenith, Man Utd, Bilbao, Inter, Fiorentina, Villarreal and Viktoria Plzen are guaranteed as being eight of the 12 first seeds. Shakhtar, Olympiacos, Anderlecht and AZ (or Ajax, if they lose tomorrow) will all fill the remaining four places should they qualify on Thursday night. And even if one of them was to fail to get through, Braga are in the queue ahead of Roma hoping to squeeze into the top 12 places (as would Salzburg and/or Monchengladbach if either were to lose tomorrow night).

 

I believe he is still under contract. Though mostly bench cameos.

There looks to be a very strong chance of a trip to Italy then. Inter & Fiorentina in pot 1, Roma pot 2 and Sassulo in pot 4

 

Which makes the group draw really, really variable. No disrespect intended to the clubs involved, but Viktoria Plzen/Genk/Dundalk is a far different proposition than Schalke/Roma/Nice.

Roma fans hate all other fans. Have been known to use unsavoury things like knives so going to Italy, Turkey and Greece, Saints fans will have to be vigilent. Portugal would be fine!!

 

I'd say Saints fans need to be careful going to most places on the continent. Hooliganism still rife in a lot of places and they love to have a crack at the English.

I should think that many foreign fans of the PL whose teams are in the EL will be desperately hoping to avoid us. That's a nice thought. One with zero substance but a nice thought nonetheless.
