U23's are in a European final v Porto. May 17th. Tickets are FREE. Im already roped in to take 2 god bairns. Anyone been following this much?
It's a great achievement for them just to get to this stage, gives me some hope that they'll be good enough for the Championship.
I think thats a stretch at the moment, mate. At that level, they are excelling and it's great to see. However, when they were up against senior league 1 and 2 teams, in the cup competition, this season. They were found wanting a bit. A team full of quality like Pickford, Gooch and Watmore, could potentially win the Championship. We don't have enough of that quality though, yet, imo.

You're probably right I'm just thinking that if we're going to have a tiny little squad next season it's better to have an under 23 squad who are in a European final to turn to than a bunch of no marks. I've got a bit of hope that Asoro and Maja could be up to the standard of the three you mention but I haven't seen enough of them.
Its depending on my getting back from London on time as to whether I shall be there or not.. The train service normally has one or two hiccups a week.
