Positioning of ashtrays was crucial
What about Saha punching another player .
So not a ploy by Everton . Makes a change from half n half scarves though .
Yep and Bardsley is a nasty bastard. He always looks like he wants to hurt someone when he goes in for a tackle. Yet laid back Tom who never even goes in hard is the one who gets sent off, not for the first time.
Good idea about the loan of ballboys . Can you be certain we have at least one good one though . Although your mate behind the goal , Mr. Bald turd , and the ballboys riled me they only did what I would have done if City were winning .
Forgot about that
I agree, it is all about intent, Tom went into the tackle to get the ball not with the intention of getting the man.
Not read that one, Chazz. This one was good, though:
Dermot Gallagher on Sky said Tom's tackle was a yellow.
Thank goodness for some common sense. It was simply never a red card - it was a bit reckless but Tom wasn't out of control or using excessive force. It was clumsy = yellow card. Nothing more. This insistence that if you get a kick it must be foul, and if you get a hard kick and the player rolls around on the floor then it must be a red card, frustrates me. It's a contact sport!
Have we appealed the red card for Thudd ?
Edit .. just seen the other thread
