They don't see him like that, unsurprisingly and also cannot comprehend why we hate him so much.

Judging by the various responses, most of them see him as archetypal of the inertia under Wenger wherein under-performing players are tolerated and even indulged in for years on end without showing so much as a sniff of improvement.

 

He's also a great example of the poor attitude that a lot of their players have displayed in recent years.
A real indictment of their approach to injuries, too.
Rushed back time and again, which now seems to have crocked him completely.

 

As expected, Kevin Bond has joined Harry Redknapp at Birmingham City.

The latter two players scored an identical number of league goals for us.

 

I have a nagging memory of Carrick hitting the post at The Emirates from about a yard, maybe less.

I meant Saha and Carragher, but I didn't realise that they'd both outscored Carrick!
One of them played 10 games in six months and the other was a defender for a completely different team.
