Yuri Berchiche is a rumoured target for Los Ladrones do Madrid. Is this because he's been really bloody good at Sociadad...or is it because Los Ladrones' appalling record with homegrown players?
Who said it's gone wrong? They will be moving up the leagues and soon will be a top team...... Billericay Town’s new owner Glenn Tamplin is urging the town to get behind his club as he aims to take them from the Ryamn League to the Football League over the coming seasons.
I saw him play for Gillingham earlier in the season, came on at half time and transformed the match certainly at that point looked like he still had something to offer at that level.
Shades of Sissoko? Couldn't be bothered at club level? Maybe he wasn't suited to English football or MP's pressing style? A bit like Gylfi, it's a shame it didn't happen whilst with us. A goalscoring midfielder is always welcome.
Someone needs to investigate whether the WHL grounds slope downhill towards the goals. Paulinho's not the first player who hits screamers for other teams which always went into Row Z for us. Other possibilities include the different spin of the earth resulting in the goal reaching up and grabbing shots that would fly over in the northern hemisphere; and the idea that what was crap in the collaboration between Paulinho, AVB and Sherwood wasn't Paulinho.
Another day, another ex-Spurs international hat-trick: Good to see Dempsey back and in the goals after his health issues.
I always rated him. Well, strictly speaking, I rated him for quite some time, until I bowed under the weight of peer pressure and said he was crap like everyone else. You're going to love this, Luke, but the player he reminds me of is Pogba. He's half a good deep lying player and half a good number 10. If you have the right player to pair with him, he's a real total football asset. If you don't, you have someone who isn't quite good enough at either role. He's entertaining, can go on mazy runs, gets to the goal well and has a good eye for an assist. On the other hand, he doesn't tackle enough, can get discouraged, and is fond of peppering Row Z with footballs.
Jonathan Woodgate returns to Middlesbrough as a coach. He joins up with Joe Jordan who was recently appointed as their first team coach.
http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/foo...to-be-honoured-with-testimonial-a3500251.html Just saw this and would certainly support the petition. Bloody good club servant
There is no way Daniel Levy will grant that prat a testimonial. He almost had to be bullied into giving Ledley one, such is his disapproval of these things. Not quite sure where the people supporting this idea think the game might be played. Whatever, there's no chance of me supporting this suggestion. The guy is a complete arse.
