    name the team..

Full youth team? Has to be Shirley?

Hopefully we can keep the run going though. Good morale booster for the young uns if they do it. They'll all be dreaming of scoring a hat trick and then coming on against Man U in a few days time!!

    2-1 to us. Anyone going?

Kuciak, Maloney and Maguire should hopefully get starts - Maguire for fitness for the United game, the rest should be kids.

I'd play Davies for the senior continuity. Luer to extend his league cup scoring exploits.

    Mannion
    Lenihan Maguire Clackstone Tymon
    Maloney Clucas Meyler Diomonde
    Luer Bowen

Sub Clucas & Meyler at half time.

Lets give it a go? who knows, with additions before the window shuts we might have a decent squad and still be in the cup.

Kuciak and Maloney will start, Maguire if he's considered fit, but I doubt anyone else will, we simply can't afford to risk any injuries.

Forgot about Lenihan. But as he hasn't been on the bench so far, I'm assuming he's injured?

Full team of kids with someone like Davies in there to marshal them, for me.

They might be kids, but they're Premier League kids. No offence to Exeter but they're a small club in a desolate (but beautiful) part of the country, and they put their cream on a scone first, which when you think about it, is ****ed up. Jam first, then cream. FACT.

For that reason, it should be a regulation 0-4 to us.

The last people to be tried for witchcraft related activities were hanged just outside Exeter

The oldest hotel in Britain is The Royal Clarence Hotel which was built in 1769 and has some parts that date back to the 1500’s.

    Tommy Cooper was from Exeter.

Exeter contains the oldest Guildhall in Britain (1468) and it is still in use today. Within is contained the oldest civic seal in England (1175).

Exeter was unique in medieval Britain in that it had a man-made drinking water system that brought pure spring water into the city.
Exeter is home to the real St James Park.

Exeter is near Babbacombe, named after a consequence of anal sex.

In Roman times, Exeter was called Isca, which is Roman for water. The Celts called it Exe, after the Celtic for water, which makes me think there wasn't a lot of note there.

People from Exeter are known as Iscians, Exonians or inbred.

The Exeter Book was discovered in Exeter Cathedral, this is a treasury of Anglo-Saxon riddles and poetry which greatly extended our knowledge of early mediaeval literature.

Exeter were originally called St Sidwell's Old Boys.
In July 1726 there was a fair on Southernhay in which the Siege of Troy was enacted, and for some not entirely stupid reason, the inhabitants of St Sidwell's (outside the city walls) identified themselves with the attacking Greeks, or Grecians. Residents of St Sidwell's described themselves as Grecians in letters to the local paper and the term was familiar in local parlance. The football ground just off the end of Sidwell Street acquired a "Grecian Gate". And when the team who played there, St Sidwell's Old Boys, changed its name to Exeter City, it must have seemed almost natural that it would be given the nickname "Grecians."

Exeter City introduced organised football to Brasil.

Exeter cathedral has the second biggest collection of cathedral bells in the world. (Liverpool is 1st)

Over the years, Exeter has been attacked by 12 nations.

Exeter suffers from the brown willy effect. It's the highest point in Devon and can help to generate storms.

How the **** do you put jam on top of cream? Surely the cream will be forced over the sides of the scone?

Thought that was Babbacombe (See previous joke).

I'd be cautious about throwing in the kids as many of the reckless fools on here are suggesting.

    What if they get injured?

We'd have no backup at all then.

Keep the kids wrapped up in cotton wool.

    Play the young bairns instead.

Chazz you need to seek therapy for your alcoholism. Maybe singing lessons for Mrs Chazz, or trade her in for a better singer?

Curtis Davies is the last person i'd start in this game, currently our most important player given he's our only match fit CB.

All 7 of the subs who've made up the bench the last 2 games should start and Maguire if he's able to. Top it up with another 3 U23 players and that's about it for the starting 11

I know. It's bonkers. Actually the best way is slice scern in half, jam both bits then a dollop of cream on each. With a cuppa. Lovely.
