Looks like actually getting into this car over the assorted barge boards could be a challenge in itself.
It's so nice to see Arrows back on the grid. They've been gone too long. please log in to view this image
shark fins and whale-tails, F1 has all gone nautical, one wonders what boat-builder Newey has in store, I hope it's a barracuda.
I don;t like the McLaren, it reminds me of a liquorice all-sort, always disliked them, didn't f***ing stop people buying me them as a kid though. as Bando says, colour scheme comes into it, so waiting for the STR, as if they go while a lighter blue, I think that will be the looker. they had a filming run yesterday. Ominously they didn't complete it because the energy recovery broke.
What is wrong with these teams. Started all so well and went downhill. Sauber Williams and Mercedes look alright, the rest :/
Personally I don't mind the colours as the graphics for one car have made the shark fin look better. the positioning of the black and then the trailing organge and white at least in this picture make the thing look like its been actually thought of. the side view is revealing and the car looks simple with most emphasis on fornt and rear wings compared to the mercedes. a lot of gubbins under the floor clearly. It's a shame they didn't get orange hubs as well. Its simple design but clealry lacking in major sponsors sadly.
thats cool, that will allow for complex geometries that are not machinable in conventional technology though... what that is (like the pre-combusion chamber think Mercedes were doing first) who knows.
I think the Ferrari could be quite good looking if they'd drop the knob nose and the fish tails. One of the the things killing F1 is too much aero, yet we're back to strapping bits of wing everywhere. For gods sake, get rid of all the fiddly bits... Arrrghhh!!!!
