What are we all hoping for then? A winnable game or a "glamour" game? Personally I want a home tie against sutton or lincoln. No disrespect to those teams, they have done brilliant getting this far and beat some good teams but I fancy a good run in the cup now and with a favourable draw you just never know, a trip to wembley at the end of the season anyone???
Only 2 games to go Fab, what with the semi-finals there. I'd take any of the United's at home. My only fear though is Burnley away!!!
I'd like a winnable game, but I think we'll get Man City or Chelsea away. Don't really want a Championship side
Good draw. I remember the last time we played them in the Cup, 4-1 win if I remember. They had a player sent off when we were 2 nil up and we walked it. I had a Spurs friend happen to sit about 6 rows in front of me in the Johnny Haynes stand and it was great to watch him begrudgingly rise 4 times to celebrate our goals. Very funny. Would be good to see Sessegnon play against Spurs and Dembele against us.
Spurs have Europa games the Thursday either side of the 5th round Cup weekend, which could work in our favour. Guess that also means it'll be a Sunday fixture.
Think it could be a good chance for us to get through. Spurs have made plenty of changes in their cup games this season, bit lucky to scrape past Wycombe in the last round as well. Probable sunday fixture and a London Derby, we may even get a spot on the telly, god forbid.
Having had a bit more time to look at the draw, not only did all the "big" teams avoid eachother but all the premier league teams avoided eachother. 8 PL teams in the draw(including Leicester who face a replay) and all 8 are playing lower league teams! Bit of a stinker of a draw for us little guys, was hoping the big boys would knock eachother out. We may have to do it the hard way to reach Wembley!
When do tickets go on sale? I'd like to assume that season ticket holders get a go first, but time will tell!
The TV schedules have now been sorted Surly - the match is live on BBC1 - and the Club have just confirmed that it's Sunday 19th February at Craven Cottage, kick-off 2pm Ticket information, they say, will be out "in due course".
"All clubs being televised live will receive a fee of £247,500 from the broadcast fund, whilst winning clubs will pick up £180,000 from the Emirates FA Cup prize fund." Blimey, if we beat Spurs we could buy Omar Bogle or better still we could give the money to Jokanovic as a bonus for signing a new contract.
