Philip Buckingham @PJBuckingham Chuba Akpom and Isaac Hayden will not face parent club Arsenal in the FA Cup fifth round.
We should just go for it in the Arsenal game, a replay is no good for us. If we win it will just make it even sweeter that the non-playing loans who we are paying for didn't handicap us enough.
same team that played against Bury with Powell in for Akpom, no point risking anyone for this game IMHO, let them enjoy the day and give it a go, win will be a bonus, replay won`t matter same team would play again, if we get beat its nothing we`re not expecting.
When will the date for the fixture be announced. Its not too much to ask surely , to give the fans the maximum possible time to make arrangements for travel and overnight accommodation if required.
Not this round. BBC will show a game on Monday at 8:00 - no Friday night game as a result for them (we know it can't be us as Arsenal play Barcelona the following day).
Hearing the reason for the live games not being revealed yet is a scheduling issue in London as police don't want Fulham and Chelsea playing at home on the same day (the Saturday). This means wherever the BBC/BT places the Chelsea/Man City game is currently keeping all other televised games in limbo. They should already be announced by now. Hopefully tomorrow it's all finalised and sorted.
Bury chairman crying on talkSport now about our game, saying their disallowed goal was a yard onside and saying the officials were pathetic cos of the penalty. Saying they only lost cos of contentious decisions and moaning about the cash they've missed out on.
I was on.a Bury forum after the game and many were saying the same, but the majority thought we were the better team throughout and fully deserved the win.
Hearing Watford Vs Leeds NOT televised. They'll kick off on the Saturday at 3pm. Media today reporting what I said yesterday about Fulham/Chelsea being the hold up. BBC have selected Chelsea Vs Man City but seem to have nowhere when they can show it in the attractive slot for ratings they want.
If that is the case then so be it. I am expecting our game to be played on Saturday 20th feb with a 3pm ko. The others are when they are. We know roughly what our team will be BUT the make up of the Arsenal team will be the interesting one. Especially with Barcelona on the Tuesday night.
