I think a lot of people were hoping Ehab would be different and when he took over the reigns, would drop the whole idea. After the Burns interview, those people now know nothing will change.
There are too many names missing (on both sides of the fence), posters who have a lot to say for themselves and have been lurking or posting since 1pm on Wednesday. This is a good and simple poll that asks for a simple answer to the question raised by the owner - Do you want him to go; he will read ambivalence as a NO vote, so must everyone else.
I have not voted, simply because stay or go, I am not bothered. If Assem Allam left tomorrow I would not be upset and I would not be joyful. He may have rocked the apple cart, but overall the club is doing better under his ownership than it has done before. Would new owners be better who knows. The problem isn't that I am sitting on any fence, the question limits my response. Go Stay Not bothered In responce to Fez, I support my team and manager, Hull City and Steve Bruce. If Steve Bruce left tomorrow, I would not alter my support for the team. I do not support Assem Allam, I have never supported any owner. Fez your presumptive bullying is no better than some of the things you accuse Assem Allam of. According to the gospel of Fez, I am both a fence sitter and on Assem Allams side. Well I cannot be both Fez. What I am in reality is exactly the same as most supporters. Your insistence on polarising support is wrong.
My presumptive bullying? Stop talking ****ing rubbish. If you feel you have been bullied then you surprise me. I have pointed out that, in my opinion, "he will read ambivalence as a NO vote, so must everyone else." My reasoning for this is his reference to the 'silent majority' he assumes support him, the same majority that he then uses to reverse on the 'vocal minority who (he says) are hooligans'. "Well I cannot be both Fez." Yes you can, because being ambivalent must stop at some point when it is damaging your club, which I and many more (both supporters and otherwise) believe it is doing. What you say about me polarising support is just more fence-sitting hogwash, as it is Assem Allam who uses the 'silent majority' as a means of giving a false idea of the support he claims to have - it is you (and other fence-sitters) who enable that - which is your right, but don't try and dodge the ramifications of your chosen position. So, it's all just about doing better is it? Who is doing better, Hull City AFC of Hull (Allam) Tigers? What are on about, it's a bit early in the day for drinking; or is that fence so high your have oxygen starvation? please log in to view this image
Unlike you, I go to watch Hull City play football and support the team. By sitting on the fence I might have a better view of the match.
I always tend to find those who sit on the fence aren't really doing it because they're 'not bothered', more that they don't have the balls to stand up for themselves. Its a very weak way of living.
I'd like AA to stay if only to piss off the no-marks on here. We are where we are because of the Allam's. Best manager ever, best squad ever, playing in the top division. If that isn't enough for the twats on here then why don't they piss off and watch Ferriby instead?
