As top division football seems to be your motivation, when we are eventually relegated will you piss off to watch Man Utd.?
He may possibly, although I've been on the waiting list for a season ticket at Anfield for years, so I imagine the Old Trafford one will be even longer and it won't be so simple asnpissing off to watch Man Utd.
at least he isn't picking the team for SB. can you guarantee that if we get a new owner he would leave SB to do his job and not piss him off by trying to dictate things? but of course YOU are more important then the manager!
Can you guarantee that a new owner wouldn't rebuild bridges with the fans, wouldn't engage with the local council to ensure the long term viability of the KC and the club, wouldn't give SB twice as much money to spend on players? Of course you would know as you seem to be a clairvoyant.
I'm 50 years old, and saw my first match at BP in 1973. I enjoy watching the team regardless of the division we are in. However, if I have a preference it is for Hull City to be competing in the top division. As for AA, apart from his occasional misguided rants the old bugger has done nothing but good for the club. The name is unlikely to be changed so I don't waste my time thinking about it.
One of German Pastor Martin Niemoller's great quotes is "First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Socialist. Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Trade Unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Jew. Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me. Businessmen don't care about fans, Broadcasters don't care about fans. Only fans care about fans and Hull City's chairman is a self-proclaimed non-fan. That is the top and bottom of it
What a pair of melodramatic queens you are. And to equate Niemoller's quote with your own 'struggle' - ha! - is pathetic.
Well now you mention it there are similarities. Come from a different land and make somewhere your home. Step in and take control when the adopted home has a problem. Use the big lie as a propaganda tool. Declare war on your neighbours. Of course it does not compare, but that is the beauty of artistic licence, and there are broad principles in play. People don't complain about the name because its the Premier League that matters, don't complain about the badge because it hasn't changed that much, don't complain about the club paying 5% interest on a loan from its owner, don't complain about the mountain of deferred transfer fees being piled up because that's what Premier League clubs do, don't complain about fans being moved from one stand to another without consultation because we've always wanted fans in the North Stand behind the goal, don't complain about community groups being thrown out of Airco because who's in a community group. At what point does it matter?
