I have a thing at present about the word 'flange'. It such a beautifully rounded word with no spikey edges and has a wonderfully soft centre. Are there any words within the English language with which you have a certain penchant for? I actually like the word Beel too. It's short, simple, has a bookend structure and also gives a wee hint of perpetual process.

Although not strictly one word, but I like to hyphenate it.... ARSE-BANDIT. Def. "Someone who waylays weary travellers and steals their arses.."
