Rather the latter! Although front three of Defoe, Lens and Johnson isn't bad if Johnson is a. On his game and b. Not guilty your honour

As for the op... Very happy if we sign Van Aanholts cousin. Know nothing of tM'Vila so can't give an informed opinion!

Neither Charlie Austin nor Leroy Fer have been included in QPR’s matchday squad for their pre-season friendly against Italian side Atalanta at Loftus Road.

Austin, who has been linked with the likes of Newcastle, and Fer, who is reportedly a target for Sunderland, have both been carrying minor injuries. Rangers say neither player is fit enough to feature in Sunday’s game.

He ripped us a new asshole at the SOL last season, I'd be buzzing if we signed this lad. Thunderous shot on him aswell.
He's been relegated the last 2 seasons , hope he doesn't make it 3 in a row!

Sunderland and West Ham have made enquiries about QPR midfielder Leroy Fer.

The 25-year-old Netherlands international, who moved to Loftus Road from Norwich a year ago, has been widely tipped to leave following Rangers’ relegation.

His representatives have been trying to secure him a move back to the Premier League and are hopeful that Sunderland boss Dick Advocaat will sign his fellow Dutchman.

However, West Ham have also expressed an interest, potentially giving Fer an opportunity to remain in London.

Both clubs have discussed a loan deal with a view to an eventual permanent move.

West Ham: London, bright lights, gold-paved streets, west-end shopping, Harrods, wall to wall wags
Sunderland: -5 degree north-easterlies, Metro Centre & Jackie Whites, wall to wall biggy market
    Hmmm, Choices choices....

But isn't the likeliest draw going to be DA? He's fallen in love with the club and can hopefully sell that to incomers - especially those he has some sort of link with.

I'm reasonably confident he will secure the players he is after - he talks positively about ES and LC. I think he's after players not so much egos which

What a pleasant change that would make!

Early points on the scoreboard.... we can all dream can't we.

Looking at those games though, if it doesn't happen now, it probably never will!!
