Simply cannot wait for this. Trainspotting up there with the best films of all (even tho we have the stupid 4%****e to put up with). Mooted for Jan 2017. Can't come quick enough.
****, ****, ****, ****, ****ing ****, fell asleep whist watching full monty last night, just woke up...so will have to change the name of my year long challenge, it's now called "a leap year minus one in film" or something to that effect.
Day 209, film 209," unknown", mr liam neeson, seen it but cannot get on the comp and cannot be arsed to dig out a DVD....
A leap year minus one day is still a year, RTR. You're fine. Watched Trainspotting earlier since that teaser I posted came about. Still bloody fantastic, definitely in my top 20/25 films.
Day 210, film 210,"Xmen apocalypse", not a big fan of Xmen films but I thought **** it, give it a try....
Just been to see Jason Bourne with the mrs. **** me its like Peter against the chicken in Family Guy.
Green Room with the late, to be great, Anton Yelchin. A punk band fights to survive after witnessing a murder in an isolated right wing skinhead bar. Brilliant. 8/10.
Watched Burnt Bradley Cooper, ex junkie Michelin starred chef, starts new restaurant, pulls Sienna Miller gets another star Unbelievable plot, unbelievable characters Bit ****, although actually I quite enjoyed it (probably just the nicely filmed food)
Behind the times as usual I have picked up a copy of Kajaki, will try and get it watched at some point
Just watched tonight's documentary on BBC2 "Versus-The Life & Films of Ken Loach". Excellent. I'm not sure if it's been on before ?
I watched Along Came A Spider last night, must be the third time I've seen it, it's worth a watch. Morgan Freeman plays a forensic psychologist who has to track down the kidnapper of a young girl, decent twist at the end. Also watched Awake on Friday, staring Hayden Cristensen and Jessica Alba. it's a bit daft, really not up to much at all, though Jessica Alba's not too painful on the eye.
Good film, but frustrating if you've read the book because there are big chunks of the plot missing Not unusual to be fair, but I noticed it loads with that one
For me it's better than "kiss the girls", but the eye candy of Ashley judd is better in that one, good ending also.
Just got in from work.... Day 212, film 212," psycho" Bit random but was the first film I picked up.......
Have to watch my daily film early as at darts tonight.... So.. Day 214, ,film 214,"sicario".. Emily blunt, josh brolin and Benicio del toro......really looking forward to this film, Not overly keen on miss blunt but love the other two, Brilliant actors .... Oh!! and Independence Day 2....****ing poor, Very ****ing poor.... Just my opinion...!!!!
I watched Blackway last night, a sort of revenge movie, with Anthony Hopkins and Ray Liota, quite enjoyed it...
