    Looking back, it was a bit far fetched like. 900 gang members meet in a park to talk about running the city.Two police cars come and they all run like buggery.

    My gran is adamant that Bob Moncur (who used to live around the corner in Crawcrook, though i have no idea if that is true) used to come around to watch football on the television at hers when he was starting out as he didn't have a television of his own. I believe she absolutely believes it's true but have no idea whether there is any merit in the story - with my gran anything is possible.

    Old softie me, loved " How Green Was My Valley", Oscar Winner from 1943 about a Welsh mining community.Never forgot the boxer Dai Bando wupping the school teacher for caning a young boy.

    i went to the pictures with a mate to watch the film "10" with Bo Derek, think i must have been 16/7, canny film that.....still remember it as being quite raunchy at that time <laugh><laugh>
