That would be even more immoral. There again it doesn't bother Ashley that he is a lowlife.

Administrative disaster. Ashley cuts costs, permanently, he wouldn't introduce this kind of stuff. He'd more likely introduce a notice period of one day to any new employee.

If Milliband somehow wins the election and keeps his mandate of getting rid of zero hour contracts [which I doubt], Ashley will no doubt find a new way to exploit people since that is what he does best.

True. Ashley and all of his ilk. Would love to see someone just come into power and say 'sod it we're confiscating their wealth.'

So the finances in full have been made available by the company house at a charge of £1. An account of twitter has paid this and relayed the information so I thought i'd share on here

Staff costs are £78.3M - (up from 61.7M 2013), the increase is due to the signings of Mbwia Sissoko, debuchy, goufrann and haidara for 6 months, but it was also decreasd with the sales of Ba and Cabaye.

    Operating charges- £23.4m - (up from 17.6m 2013

    NUFC paid sports direct £2.8m - (up from 0.8m 2013) - Quite a jump!

NUFC Debt has decreased from 133.5m to 94.9m a decrease of 38.6M but ashleys loan of 129m remains static at 129m

NUFC Cash balance up from -4.1m Overdraft to 38.6m Credit - a cash jump of 42.7M

    NUFC signings summer 2014 -

    Cabella - £11.5m
    Riviere - £6.3m
    Janmaat - £5m
    Darlow - £3.5m
    Lacelles - £3.5m

    NUFC sales -
    debuchy - £10m
    Mbwia - £5.5m
    Santon - £2.6m

    NUFC Charitable donations up 638% from £6,271 - £39,995

I think the main thing to look at here is the NUFC cash pot, a jump of £42.7 million and explains where the hidden money went

Having had a chance to look at these figures, theres a couple of things that stand out. Obviously the money we are paying sports direct, an increase of £2M, what the hell are they charging us for? and how the F is it not the other way round?

But i think the cash in the bank now is such an important thing. To go from -4.1M to 38.6m, surely that amount would be accumilating interest and I didnt really believe it before, but it appears that we might have a bit of a war chest going into the summer transfer window.

The £2 million is a bit strange. Why are we paying Sports Direct? They should be paying us a fortune for advertising space ordinarily.

The club like to say that we only spend money that we have. Therefore, I would agree. We may have some funds to spend. If that is the case they need to get rid of the deadwood on top of this and invest the money wisely. Get a decent ****ing manager and let them pick the players. Just this once.

Supposidey our increased costs in total are

    16.6m increase in staff costs
    6.8m increase in amortisation (???)
    5.8M increase in "Other expenses

leaving a total increase of costs at 29.2m

Director pay has decreased from 262k - 190K, so from Llambo - Charley, still 190k a year its not a bad gig if you can

Well we do need it because Remi is bringing Lacazette, Umitti, and Grenier with him...

Grenier is on a free no? im sure his contract is up in the summer, Remi garde will be on a free, maybe a small signing on bonus. Garde's staff will be no more than 2m in compo, probably alot less.

Lacazette at the moment is probably worth 20-25m with his current exploits in Ligue 1, Umitti im not to sure about, but just pay the cash!

2016 for Grenier. They'll sell this summer if he doesn't resign. I think him and Sissoko will be at Arsenal/Liverpool.

Don't worry the £34m is only resting in Newcastle's account until Ashley finds a way to give it to himself as a performance bonus without paying tax

What I cannot understand is how we have a DEBT of £92m, PLUS owe Ashley £129m??? I understand it's probably the fact I'm no accountant, but no-one's buying this club with £220m of debt. No-one. Ever.

There is £129m debt but with the cash in the bank the net debt position is £92m. The net debt figure is nonsense really as it hasn't been paid back. The debt is the debt and the cash is the cash.

Really want to see that debt to Ashley reduced in the next few seasons. He's just holding it over the club's head to excuse all the crappy stuff he's doing in the meantime. There's no way he'd remotely be able to justify the free advertising for SD if the debt wasn't there.

I remember him saying that he wasn't looking for repayment of his loan until the club was 'financially' sound and in a position to do so. So Mr Ashley, we are in that position.........

Ok, so 100% this is not an additional debt? It's not a debt of £220m, but £129m with £37m in the bank (which won't be used to offset the debt)?
