I saw Hazel O'Connor in 1980, all I can remember was that she had fat legs.

Rather remarkably I saw them at Adelphi. Hadn't got tickets, so hung about outside. Surprisingly two people came out before they came on, complaining it was too hot and gave us their tickets. Saw em a good few times after that as well.

    Look Back in Anger

To celebrate sixty years since John Osborne wrote his classic play, Richard Wilson directs a new radio dramatisation with David Tennant as Jimmy Porter. The play that launched the Angry Young Man movement has lost none of its bite and still disturbs and questions in equal measure.

When oasis were at their peak they played the Enmore theatre in Newtown, Sydney. Bigger than the Adelphi of course but still a really small venue for the best band in the world at that time - it was the best oasis gig I've seen live.

Earl's Court 3 nights running with The Verve supporting being a close second...
