They have struggled to try and get the exact dates for the play offs as 6 teams can still end in the 4 play off spots. Obviously this may not effect us and im sure the conference is hoping this to be the case. BUT if we do end 2nd we are suppose to play on Wednesday and Sunday but City play at home on that same Sunday. They could move us to the Monday but City have a open top bus trip planned for their celebrations. I dont know how a bus ride can get in the way of a play off match but it is it seems!
Its a potential issue for the police meaning an issue for the Conference organisers.

Here is their announcement about this.....

Going by this, the 2nd leg can only be played either on the Sunday or Monday. Not on any other day due to BT Sports....

We were suppose to play 2nd leg on the Sunday. Police wanted it moved to the Monday because City playing at home on the Sunday which is fair enough as all League 1 games must be played the same day and kick off the same time as per usual fifa requirements on the last game of the season.

    But then this happened...

Now the police doesnt know what they want as they have to pick a day. Looks like they will pick us playing on the Sunday, same day as City!!

Hopefully we win the league and then there is no issue, well for us anyway. Still an issue for Grimsby though!

Everything about the play offs are purely down to WHAT IF.

They are being prepared for every possibility. If Barnet end 2nd then that solves a lot of issues. The conference have plans in place for Barnet vs 5th place and plans for Rovers vs 5th place. It would be mad if they didnt pre-plan this. Imagine if they didnt plan ahead. It would be chaos and by the time they sorted it there would be no time to actually sale tickets!!

All 6 clubs in the running for the play offs - Barnet, us, Grimsby, Eastleigh, FGR & Maccs, all had a meeting with the conference to plan for every possibility. They certainly havent forgotten Barnet could end in the play offs. I get the impression the conference would prefer them to end in the play offs <ok>

:emoticon-0183-swearDon't see why city can't play Saturday, already champions and Walsall planted mid table, no affect to any other team

Apparently all games in league 1 on the last game of the season have to kick off on the same day and same time. Same for league 2. Same for the championship and the prem. Same for us too that all games in our league kick off on the same day and time time. Same in other countries too. Fifa rules. So the reds cant move their game <ok>
