Sad for MK Dons. I really like Karl Robinson. He seems a good young coach.

On a positive silver lining note... local derby for Cobblers next season!

Yeah, me too. And Ben Reeves. Much better player than League One level.

Ched Evans wins appeal for rape conviction. He will now face a retrial.

Means the new evidence is not sufficient to warrant a pardon i.e. does not prove his innocence, but is important enough that the jury should have been aware of it. Doesn't mean that he won't be found guilty again....though mustn't assume that.

He's a bit of a lad is Artur.

Would have actually been funny if a plastic drink bottle had come through the open window, and the advert was for a smartphone's huge memory.

Wycome (8th) visit Fratton park this weekend, if they win they will be just two points behind pompey. <yikes>
Not cemented that play off place just yet.

If Wycombe manage to get promotion, you will have a nice little quintet of teams within 50 miles playing each other ... Northampton, MK Dons, Peterborough, Coventry and Wycombe which will be good for the clubs concerned.

So Charlton are down. Can their South London neighbours (Millwall) replace them? And Wigan replace Bolton? And further up the hierarchy, Derby to replace Villa?

What a tremendous club Burnley are in many respects. I believe they are a good footballing side with a manager who seems well grounded. Well done to the Burnley board for sticking with Dyche after last season's relegation. Most other clubs would have ditched their manager. Finally a salute to their fans an their attendances. Unlike other clubs in the division and some further down that have a catchment area of at least half a million eg Portsmouth, Burnley is a small town of less than 100,000 with a sizeable Asian community that doesn't seem to attend in any great numbers and is in an area where there are on paper more attractive clubs to follow such as Manchester City, so when certain clubs start shouting how brilliant it is that they get 18,000, whilst being good, in the context of things is it as good as the 16,000 who turn up to watch Burnley?

Agree with all of that Ides, plus Sean Dyche is a fine young manager and a thoroughly decent bloke. I hope they go up and stay there.

I used to live just outside Burnley and a very old chap whom I used to visit used to tell me tales of when he was a lad and Turf Moor used to hold 50,000 people on a regular basis. He almost had tears in his eyes when he said that the idea that Burnley wouldn't be a top team forever never occurred to anyone in the town.

Sean Dyche is a very decent bloke. Met him in a locals pub (he still lives near here) and is easily approachable. I hope they come up.

I hope the promoted three are the present Top 3 in the Championship. Hopefully the unlucky one has the mental strength to survive missing out in the cruellest manner. Middlesborough v Brighton on the final Monday.

So Burnley kept their cool. Win the next two and they are promoted as one of Boro or Brighton have to drop something in their final match.

I fully expect him to be amongst our list of potential replacements for Koeman Coaches for next summer the future.
