What's happened at that club is nothing short of a disgrace. All that money the owner banked on the guarantee that it'd be put by to provide long-term investment and safeguard the future of the club. And yet, they can't even sort out a decent pitch.

And sent there by Fleetwood Town 9 miles away, who were 9th tier in 2005.

Bloody dreadful what has happened to Blackpool FC. The owners ought to hang their heads in shame. They don't appear to have any sense that they are stewards of the club, as much as owners. It isn't the sort of business that they can muck about with, or let fail, as is their whim. It's a club. Part of the community. If they didn't have that spirit within them in the first place they had no business buying it.

I think I've made it known enough that I'm not really a proper football supporter these days, but a Saints supporter only. However, I realise that some of the old wider interest has crept back in temporarily because I'm gearing my entire Monday to the Chelsea v Spurs match. It's the Leicester City story that has done it. If only the PL could be as competitive as this every season I might get it back permanently.

For the first time possibly ever I want Spurs to win tonight, just so Leicester can win the league by beating Everton.

Have always thought Lewis Dunk might be worth a look too as a long-term Jose replacement.

And just as I say that, Dunk gets sent off. Nightmare for them going to 'Boro.

Blimey, Wilson equalises in the 94th minute for Brighton. Not that it makes a *massive* difference.

Agreed, that goal only matters really if Burnley lose one of their games

HT in Burnley's match. Here's the positions if it remains as is now:

It doesn't get too much tighter than that No wonder LTL is enthralled. :)

It's the fact that Boro play Brighton in a final 'winner takes all' match that makes it so special.
