    It's OK in my book for you to like Brighton. My niece lives there and she likes it. I worked there for 6 months and didn't, but that wasn't because of Brighton really. It was because I had to drive to and from Egerton Forstal in Kent every day.

    Amen to that. Second time I've done post-match with Hughton (in about two weeks, strangely!) and he comes across as a good chap.

    Fair, level-headed, straight talking and very little ego. Can't imagine he gives the journalists great lines, though. But fair enough.

    Slightly pleased, but that's more than tempered by the fact that we were 3-0 down in the first place after being torn to shreds by Morecombe at home. For a team that has ambitions of promotion, such a result is not something to be celebrated. According to the News, it seems at least some of the players and Cook himself recognised that.

    I saw that the other week. Watched the last 5 minutes of that game after watching another stream. Think ther was more going on in this 5 minutes than the whole of the game I watched previously. Or so it seemed. And Charlton did indeed go mad. Quite enjoyable just to watch people having so much of a moment. Felt for Steve Bruce though.
