I notice that cringeworthily bad film, 'She's the Man', was on recently (Vinnie Jones must have needed the money). It got me thinking how many films have been made featuring football - assocation, naturally.

I quickly came up with Escape to Victory, Damned United and When Saturday Comes. I will come up with others.

Something to think sbout on a lazy Sunday.

    Anyone ever seen this...

I'd have called it as a piss take if it wasn't for the fact Robert Duvall's in the trailer.

    Reviews are actually reasonable.

Yeah Goal 3 was a straight to DVD release.

Goal 1 was decent but it went downhill from there.

Hepburn. Too nicey, nicey. Out of your league. You'd get nowt anyway.

Grogan. Available. Up for it. Sparky, creative, thoughtful.

    No contest.

It's not about you anyway. It's about what the girls want. And how they get it.

The boys are merely unthinking, manipulated pawns.

Much is inexplicable and beyond our ken.

    As symbolised by the penguin.

    Great film.

    Bella.

Sixty Six was a good film, though it wasn't strictly a football film.

Robert Carlyle had a lead role as a footballer facing the onset of MS in the 1995 movie, Go Now. It's well worth a view if you get the chance and there's a classic line, "It bobbled."
