QPR will train at St George’s Park today, as Harry Redknapp’s side go through their final preparations ahead of Saturday’s trip to Stoke City. Rangers will travel to Staffordshire this morning ahead of a lunchtime training session at the FA’s national football centre. Redknapp told www.qpr.co.uk: “We’re travelling up this morning and training at St George’s Park later on. “The facilities up there are first class, so it’ll be a good environment for us to go through our final plans ahead of the game.” Yun Suk-Young and Richard Dunne are both available for the Premier League clash at the Britannia Stadium, but the game will come too early for Sandro, who is likely to be fit to return for the home fixture against Southampton next weekend. Adel Taarabt is also unavailable. Redknapp added: “We've changed little bits about our preparation this week, but it's about the players doing their jobs tomorrow. “We know what to expect of Stoke - the fans get right behind them and it's a tough place to go. “I thought we played well against Manchester United. We've got to improve again on that and go again up at Stoke. We've got to pick up points soon. “The players have worked hard and we're in good shape. We all know the importance of the games coming up. “This is another hard game. We know how important it is to get points on the road and that's the aim this weekend.” Ahead of Monday’s transfer deadline day, Redknapp revealed he is ‘still searching’ for a couple of loan deals, admitting: “We're looking for a couple of loans. That's the market we're in at the moment. “If we can find them, then we will get them over the line. We’re not close though on anyone at the moment. “Tony Fernandes & Les (Ferdinand) are working really hard with me to try and get a couple of deals done - it’s hard though. “We can't be letting too many go without strengthening. We need to build on what we've got, not weaken the squad.” Read more at http://www.qpr.co.uk/news/article/q...georges-park-2235755.aspx#fZJLFcCMfexzdymo.99
Half way through reading that the words turned into 'blah, blah, blah'. Either my brain's gone into meltdown or he's spewing out the same old stuff again!
Yun, with hands in pockets, seems really enthused by Harry, who appears to be leading a T'ai chi session.
I've had enough of this season already. The Warnock promotion campaign seems such a long time ago. We played with verve and a lot of skill. Now we just seem jaded, exhausted & clueless. What are the odds we fail to take a single away point this season?
Really beginning to feel we may not pick up any points away all season...... Hope I'm proven wrong immediately this afternoon though
